Charles Gunn is a fictional character on the series Angel portrayed by J. August Richards. The character is named after James and Sean Gunn, filmmakers who worked with series creator Joss Whedon.

Born in the Los Angeles Badlands, Charles and sister Alonna were left to take care of each other from an early age. They and several others became targets for vampires and trained themselves in fighting off the evil creatures using guerilla tactics.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
