Chandra Suresh is a fictional character on the TV Series Heroes played by Erick Avari. Chandra is the father of Mohinder Suresh both father and son are geneticists. Chandra is the author of the book Activiating Evolution which covers his theories that certain humans are evolving and developing unusual abilities. He was ridiculed for his beliefs by his colleagues but was determined to pursue his work and finding these gifted people.

Chandra moved to New York to pursue his work. He drove a cab in which he was ultimately killed, presumably by Sylar. Chandra met with Sylar, whom he referred to as "Patient Zero" and knew as Gabriel Gray. Sylar was Chandra's first contact in New York. He eventually came to believe he was not gifted as he first supposed but later changed his mind when Gabriel revealed telekinetic abilities.

Chandra later broke contact with Sylar. A recorded telephone conversation revealed that Sylar kept trying to contact Chandra but Chandra refused to meet with him.

Mohinder witnessed his father's murder in a dream. The killer wore a watch stopped at 11:53. The same watch is seen on Sylar's hand when he murders Charlie.
