Science Fiction is the generally accepted choice of titles for the category of Literature that uses extrapolation from current science and technology and speculation about possible futures, among many other things, to tell stories of imagination and invention. Science Fiction is also used to describe similar efforts in Movies and TV and Games and Art and Comics when similar techniques of imaginative extrapolation are used.

For many people, Science Fiction is seen as being interchangeable with Sci Fi or any of its variant spellings.
