Catch-Phrases
A catch-phrase is a short term that is repeated by (and associated with) a particular character (or rarely, a group of characters). This is particularly common with characters in television (or radio or movie) series, where the audience sees them in a series of different plots. They are usually unique to the character, and may be said by a fan as a way to reference the character. It has been suggested that they are called catch-phrases because they catch on with the public.
