Cat People is a 1942 horror film from director Jacques Tourneur. Simone Simon stars as Irena Dubrovna, a Serbian woman who believes she has been cursed and that she will turn into a panther and do terrible things. Kent Smith plays Irena's husband, Oliver Reed who doesn't believe in his wife's fears and takes her to see a psychiatrist, Dr. Judd (Tom Conway) hoping he can cure her of her irrational beliefs.
