Casino Royale is a 1967 movie based on the Ian Fleming novel of the same name. David Niven stars as secret agent, James Bond.

The all-star spoof was produced outside of the "official" James Bond movies, with a different creative team. The issue had been complicated by producer Charles K. Feldman holding the rights to the novel, Casino Royale, while Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman were working with other rights concerning the books and characters. This issue was resolved in the 1990s, eventually resulting in a more serious adaptation of the book with with Daniel Craig. The 1967 movie was actually the second adaptation of the novel, the first being an episode of the television series Climax! in 1954.

The wild and complicated plot has multiple "James Bonds" (although only Nivens' character is the original), including Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress, and Woody Allen.
