Carolyn Jones (April 29, 1929 – August 23, 1983) American leading lady of the 1950s, best remembered as the vampish Morticia Addams from TV’s The Addams Family (1964-66) and the spin-off film Halloween with the Addams Family (1977). Her other credits include Road to Bali (1952), The War of the Worlds (1953), House of Wax (1953), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) and Eaten Alive (1977).
