Carnivàle was a 2003 HBO series created by Daniel Knauf. The series starred Nick Stahl and Clancy Brown and ran for two seasons before being canceled. Carnivàle was set during the great depression and concerned individuals in a traveling carnival in the American west. The main theme was a struggle between good and evil, where good is no more perfect than the average person.
