Carla Gugino (b. August 29, 1971, Sarasota, Florida) is an American actress who has appeared in a number of popular series. Genre fans may recognize her as Dr. Molly Caffrey from the short-lived series Threshold but Gugino may be better remembered for her appearances on Falcon Crest, Spin City, Chicago Hope, Karen Cisco and films such as American Gangster, Night at the Museum, The One, and Spy Kids. Her genre appearances include Michael, Mermaid Chronicles Part 1: She Creature, Rise: Bloodhunter and the upcoming 2009 film, Watchmen.
