Carla Boudreau is a Canadian actress born Carla Ann Hyra August 6, 1969 in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has appeared on several genre series including Stargate SG-1 as Oma Desala in her first appearance in "Maternal Instinct"

Boudreau was born in Vancouver, B.C., and grew up in Port Coquitlam, B.C., and later Langley, B.C. with her 2 sisters and 1 brother. After high school, she became an international model doing print, catalogues, and commercials for 10 years. Then, at age 26, decided she was tired of traveling overseas, so she decided to try acting. She took acting lessons, and then on her first audition landed a role on the TV series Poltergeist: The Legacy as Isabella.

She then proceeded to land roles on various TV series such as ']The Outer Limits, Millennium', Stargate SG-1, and The Chris Isaak Show. She also appeared in the movie 'Saving Silverman' in 2001, eventually moving to New York where she currently resides.

Bodreau is a mother of 2 and her talents and hobbies include guitar, singing, cooking, baking, sewing, painting, drawing, and crafts.
