Canada

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Canada is a country in North America occupying the northernmost section of the North American continent. It is bordered to the south by the United States and is the second largest country in the world in land area though much of its territory is uninhabited. The country's capital, Ottawa, is located in the province of Ontario which is also home to the largest city, Toronto.

Canadian refers to a person or thing from Canada.

Canadians have contributed some of the most iconic Sci Fi celebrities. William Shatner (Star Trek's Captain James T. Kirk), Dan Aykroyd (Ghostbusters, the Coneheads), and Jim Carrey (Bruce Almighty, The Mask) are all Canadians.

Western Canadian city, Vancouver, has the third largest film production industry on the continent following New York and Hollywood and Vancouver is well known as the filming location of several popular genre movies and TV series such as Stargate SG-1 and The X-Files. Though many Canadian productions include predominantly Canadian actors, their characters are often presented as American.

Paranormal

Sasquatch is the common Canadian name for a hairy biped, which may be the same as the American Bigfoot. UFO sightings and investigations, ghosts, psychics, and more are part of the Canadian culture. John Robert Colombo is a well-known author on Canadian paranormal events.
