Bud Westmore (b. Hamilton Adolph Westmore January 13, 1918 – June 24, 1973) American make-up artist, one of the Westmore dynasty founded by his father George (1879-1931). After a brief stint with PRC in the mid-1940s, working on such films as The Flying Serpent (1945), Strangler of the Swamp (1945) and Devil Bat’s Daughter (1946), he succeeded Jack P. Pierce at Universal from the late 1940s until his death, supervising all the studios major monster make-ups during that period.
