Brian Wilson Aldiss (b. August 18, 1925, East Dereham, Norfolk, England, UK) is a British author who has worked in science and traditional fiction. Aldiss is the vice president of the H. G. Welles society and a co-president of the Birmingham Science Fiction Group. Sci Fi film fans may remember the film Artificial Intelligence: AI which was based on his short story "Supertoys Last All Summer Long". Other works that have been transformed into film includes Frankenstein Unbound and Brothers of the Head.
