Brent Spiner (b. February 2, 1949) is an American actor born in Houston, Texas. He is best known for his portrayal of the android, Data, in the series Star Trek: The Next Generation and the Next Generation films. He also made guest appearances on Star Trek: Enterprise as Dr. Arik Soong.
