Bodie James Olmos (b. August 27, 1975) is an American actor born in Los Angeles, California to Kaija Keel and actor Edward James Olmos. He is their youngest son and also the grandson of actor Howard Keel. Bodie followed in his father's and grandfather's footsteps and began acting at age seven, making his acting debut in The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez. Six years later, he appeared with his father in Stand and Deliver.
Olmos also pursued athletics in the form of swimming, biking, running, and surfing. He is also a musician, a drummer. Bodie is a graduate of School of theatre in UCLA where he studied acting. He also has a degree from the Sanford Meisner Center.
He has appeared on stage in a revival of Zoot Suit and had a recurring role on the series American Family which also starred his father. His film appearances include Walkout, Splinter and Resilience. In 2004, he began appearing on the Sci Fi Channel series Battlestar Galactica as pilot Brendan "Hot Dog" Costanza.
