Blues Paddock is a detective with the South African Police Force for Cape Town from Betaverse, in the television series Charlie Jade. She is played by Rolanda Marais.

Character Bio

Detective Blues Paddock is member of the South African Police force stationed in Cape Town. A veteran of seven years her father was a cop and before she ever entered Cape Town University she knew she wanted to be a cop as well.

Formally trained in forensics, she sought out and got her detective's shield in record time.

Paddock's refuses to believe what appears to be the obvious. She is intrigued by mystery and has become convinced that much in the world is a deception, a deception she feels compelled to reveal. This is what draws her to Charlie Jade in the first place, her belief in her own instincts. There are many things about her country, the system that controls society, and Vexcor in particular that don't add up. Comfortable striking out on her own, a lone wolf, Blues Paddock becomes involved with Charlie, in spite of every ounce of her training, and all the warning signals that her intellect flashes as danger.
