Blood: the Last Vampire is a 2000 anime movie, in which the mysterious girl named Saya hunts vampire-like monsters (called "Chiropterans" in the Blood-storyline) at the US military base in Okinawa during the Vietnam War, using a katana.

The film was praised for its lavish animation style, and was followed by the TV series spinoff Blood+.

A live-action adaptation is currently under development.
