Billy Bevan (William Bevan Harris) (September 29, 1887 – November 26, 1957) Australian-born comedian who arrived in Hollywood during the 1920s and became one of Mack Sennett’s troupe. He often appeared in small roles as jocular policemen, barkeeps or air-raid wardens in such films as Dracula’s Daughter (1936), Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1941) and The Return of the Vampire (1943).
