Bill Dow is a Canadian stage, film, and television actor perhaps best remembered for his roles on Stargate SG-1 as befuddled scientist, Dr. Bill Lee. Dow has appeared in numerous stage roles including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Dancing At Lughnasa, and Oleanna. His television guest appearances include MacGyver, Highlander: The Series, The Outer Limits, Millennium, The Sentinel, Viper, Seven Days, Mysterious Ways, a recurring role on The X-Files as Dr. Charles Burks, Special Unit 2, The 4400, Da Vinci's Inquest, Masters of Horror, Dead Like Me and Kyle XY as Professor Kern.
Dow has also appeared in many feature films. He made his film debut in the independent film The Revelations of Becka Paulsen. Notable films include The Fly II, This Boy's Life, Legends of the Fall, The Omen, Mr. Magoo, NightScream, Chain of Fools, Black River, Carrie, and Global Frequency
