Bicentennial Man is a 1999 film directed by Chris Columbus and starring Robin Williams. The film is based on the novella Bicentennial man by Isaac Asimov and The Positronic Man by Asimov and Robert Silverberg.

Summary

A Robot, Andrew, is purchased to assist the Martin family but the family's eldest child refuses to accept him. Andrew is eventually revealed to be able to experience emotions and creativity. The story follows his life over the two centuries.
