Bernie Mac (b. Bernard Jeffrey McCollough October 5, 1957 – August 9, 2008) is a Chicago-born standup comedian well known for his comedy series The Bernie Mac Show. Better known for his comedic work and appearances in such films as Ocean's Eleven and its sequels, Mac nevertheless contributed to genre productions with his appearance in the 2007 film Transformers and as the voice of the Gadget Mobile in Inspector Gadget's Biggest Caper Ever.
