Benjamin Ratner is an Canadian actor born in New Haven, Connecticut. In addition to his many appearances on television and film, Ratner has also appeared on stage in the one man shows Cherished and Forgotten and The Smell of Pokey Dying. His other talents include amateur boxing, which won him a gold medal in the 1982 Britsh Columbia Games. He also writes music and plays guitar, formerly a bassist for L. Kabong. Ratner made his television debut guest starring on TV series such as Mom P.I. and appearing in the films Leaving Normal, From Pig to Oblivion.
