Ben Cotton (b. July 26, 1975) is an actor best known for his role on Stargate Atlantis as the opinionated and divisive Dr. Kavanagh. Cotton has appeared on a number of genre series including First Wave, Strange Frequency, Smallville, Jeremiah, John Doe, Tru Calling, Dark Angel, Special Unit 2, the 4400, The Dead Zone, Supernatural, and Blood Ties. He also appeared in the films The Chronicles of Riddick, Slither, and The Tooth Fairy.
