Ben Affleck (August 15, 1972 Berkeley, California - ) is an American actor.

Before winning an Oscar (shared with Matt Damon) for his screenplay for Good Will Hunting, Affleck had already appeared (briefly) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

His first starring genre part was in Kevin Smith's Dogma. He went on to appear in Armageddon, Paycheck (movie), and as Matt Murdock in Daredevil.

He also potrayed TV's first Superman, George Reeves, in Hollywoodland.
