The Vordagian tyrant rose from relative obscurity to sit upon the Black Empire’s throne. Having been born a bastard, Bellgrave had no chance to ascend to any rank of prominence within the Empire. He was forced to use treachery and deceit to attain power, methods which were instilled in him at a young age by his witch mother, Allisa. Using lies, bribery, and murder, Bellgrave removed his challengers and usurped the throne of Vordag, resting it from family lines whose claim upon the seat of power was legitimate. Once his goal had been achieved, he purged the Empire, brutally slaying anyone he suspected of opposing him. Under his rule, the Vordagian Empire is rebuilding itself for the next great conflict, a conflict that Bellgrave intends to win.
