Beetle Juice)
Beetlejuice is a 1988 comedic fantasy film from director Tim Burton. The film was produced for Warner Bros. by Michael Bender , Larry Wilson and Richard Hashimoto. Michael Keaton starred as the flm's title character, Betlegeuse, a bio-exorcist hired by a recently dead couple, Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara Maitland (Geena Davis) to rid their home of its new yuppie owners after their own attempts meet with failure. Being far too nice for the task, their previous attempts failed to scare anyone, particularly the new owner's teen daughter, Lydia (Winona Ryder) who is able to see and communicate with them.
The movie spawned an animated series in 1989, Beetlejuice (animated series).

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
