Bedknobs and Broomsticks is a 1971 Disney fantasy film combining live action film with animation. The film is based on the Mary Norton books The Magic Bed Knob; or, How to Become a Witch in Ten Easy Lessons and Bonfires and Broomsticks. It is similar to another Disney classic, Mary Poppins, in theme and style.

Angela Lansbury stars as apprentice witch student Elegantine Price who takes in three orphans, Charlie, Carrie, and Paul Rawlins during WWII. When Elegantine receives a letter from the Correspondence College of Witchcraft in London, she and the children make their way to the school with the use of a magic bedknob to speak to the school's headmaster, Emelius Brown.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
