Bedazzled is a 1967 comedic fantasy directed by Stanley Donen and written by Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. Both men also appeared in the film. Cook took on the role of the devil also known as George Spiggott while Moore starred as short order cook, Stanley Moon. Infatuated with waitress Margaret Spencer (Eleanor Bron) who works alongside him at Whimpy Burger he is unable to fulfill his dreams with her and decides to commit suicide. When the devil appears to him with the option of selling his soul in exchange for seven wishes, he agrees. But with each wish he becomes more aware of how empty his life has been. In the process he also meets the seven deadly sins who try to advise him in his choices. Raquel Welch plays Lilian Lust.
