Season 1

Hunted by the Cylons the fleet is short on sleep as they are forced to jump to a new location every 33 minutes to outrun their enemy. When the Olympic Carrier misses a jump and later rejoins the fleet, Adama fears it has been infiltrated by the Cylons.


When Sharon Valerii awakens soaking wet after news of sabotage to Galactica's water tanks, she fears she may be responsible. Baltar is tasked with finding a way to detect Cylons. On Cylon-occupied Caprica, a copy of Sharon attempts to rescue Helo.


The fleet finds a source of water but it is locked in ice and they need a mining crew. Roslin sends Apollo to the Astral Queen to request the aid of the prisoners but instead they become the hostages of convicted terrorist Tom Zarek.


An accident on the flight deck kills 13 pilots. Starbuck is assigned the task of training a group of civilians but her own fears of repeating mistakes lead her to fail them on their first day.


Starbuck goes missing after a battle with Cylon raiders and crash lands on a nearby planet. Adama is determined to rescue her despite the risk by Starbuck is equally determined to rescue herself by taking over and teaching herself to fly a Cylon raider.


A second copy of Aaron Doral is believed responsible for a deadly bombing on board Galactica. A tribunal is set up to investigate the security breach and Chief Tyrol and Sharon Valerii's relationship causes suspicion to fall on them.


Baltar and the Six in his head have a spat. He's stunned when she appears on Galactica posing as Shelly Godfrey and accuses him of treason. Starbuck has difficulty recovering from her knee injury. On Caprica, Helo and Sharon are hunted by Centurions and she worries she may be exposed as a Cylon.


A Cylon known as Leoben is discovered in the fleet. Adama sends Starbuck to interrogate him and he claims to have planted an explosive device somwhere in the fleet. On Caprica, the Cylons plot with Sharon to convince Helo to remain on Caprica.


Roslin suspects Adama may be a Cylon. Adama suspects Tigh's recently returned wife, Ellen, may be a Cylon. On Caprica, the Cylon's suspect Sharon may be growing too close to Helo.


The fleet is desperate for fuel but the only tylium source in range is under Cylon control. Adama decides they must take the fuel from the cylons and they cook up a daring plan. Roslin experiences hallucinations that lead her to consult a priestess who believes the visions are prophetic. On Caprica, Sharon learns her plan has succeeded.


Roslin calls a meeting of the quorum and discovers Tom Zarek has been made the representative of Sagittaron. Zarek calls for a nomination for the vice presidency which forces Roslin to ally with popular Baltar. Sharon is forced to reveal to Helo that she is a Cylon


Crashdown and Sharon discover a habitable planet that may be Kobol. The discovery convinces Roslin that there may be truth in the ancient prophecies. On Galactica, Sharon contemplates suicide as she becomes more and more convinced that she is a cylon. A raptor investigating Kobol is shot down by a basestar and Adama must find a way to destroy it.


Kara follows Roslin's orders to return to Caprica and find the Arrow of Apollo. The fleet becomes increasingly divided. Sharon and Racetrack gain access to the Basestar orbiting Kobol and Sharon finds confirmation that she is a Cylon.


Season 2

Adama fights for his life after being shot by Sharon. Tigh takes command of the fleet. An emergency jump to escape the cylons separates Galactica from the fleet. On Kobol, the crew of the crashed raptor come under Cylon attack. On Caprica, Kara comes across Helo and Sharon.


Galactica reunites with the fleet but a Cylon virus has infected the ship's system and several centurions have come on board. On Caprica, Starbuck and Helo visit her apartment and use her old truck to travel.


Cottle returns to Galactica to help save Adama. Tigh has difficulty making decisions in Adama's absence. In jail, Roslin suffers withdrawal from Chamalla. Lee Adama leads a rescue of the downed raptor crew on Kobol.


Tigh's decision to impose martial law causes conflict in the fleet. Lee plots to free Roslin and reestablish democracy. On Caprica, Helo and Starbuck discover a human resistance led by professional pyramid ball player Samuel Anders


Adama returns to the CIC and orders a search for his son throughout the fleet. Roslin uses religion to convince a third of the fleet to follow her to Kobol. Starbuck is injured in a Cylon attack and awakens in a hospital on Caprica but suspects her doctor may be a Cylon.


Starbuck returns from Caprica with the arrow as well as Helo and Sharon. In exchange for her life, Sharon offers her knowledge of the location of the Tomb of Athena. Dualla guides Adama to realize that he must put the fleet back together.


Sharon leads Roslin's expedition towards the Tomb of Athena. Zarek's henchman, Meir, plots to kill Lee. Baltar questions his sanity. Adama decides to jump to Kobol in a raptor.


Criticism of the Gideon massacre spreads throughout the fleet. Tigh receives death threats. Roslin and Adama invite reporter D'Ana Biers to tell the true story of Galactica's crew and she discovers a secret intriguing to the cylons. Viper pilot Louanne Katraine, crash lands her viper after taking high doses of stimulants.


Tyrol and Helo get into a fight over Sharon. A Cylon virus infects Galactica'a computers, causing various malfunctions. Adama must decide if he can trust Sharon to help them. Morale takes an upswing when Tyrol decides to build his own stealth ship.


The fleet is excited when they are joined by the Battlestar Pegasus commanded by Admiral Helena Cain. The Pegasus has a cylon prisoner Baltar recognizes as a six copy. Cain reassigns Galactica personnel to Pegasus, claiming discipline problems.


Galactica faces off against Pegasus when Cain refuses to turn over Helo and Tyrol whom she plans to execute. Starbuck returns from her reconnaissance mission and breaks the standoff. The two Battlestars plot the destruction of a Cylon resurrection ship together. Roslin informs Adama that it may be necessary to kill Cain.


Starbuck prepares to carry out Adama's assassination order. On Pegasus, crewmembers assault Helo and Tyrol. During the battle against the Resurrection ship, Lee is forced to eject.


Roslin's cancer brings her near death and she orders Sharon's pregnancy terminated. Baltar considers his future as president and realizes Roslin doesn't trust him. Baltar discovers Sharon's baby's blood has unusual properties.


Lee is sent to investigate the thriving black market and uncovers a trade in children. The investigation turns personal when the daughter of a prostitute he has been intimate with is kidnapped.


While the fleet jumps ahead, Galactica stays behind to protect a crew of miners of the colonial mining ship Majahual from Cylon attacks. The Viper pilots nickname a deadly raider, "Scar" and a competition ensues between Starbuck and Kat both fighting to be the one to take the raider out and win the honor of top gun. Kat accuses Starbuck of drinking too much and Starbuck acknowledges the source of her discontent to Lee.


News of the cylon Sharon's continued existence spreads throughout the fleet. Cylon sympathizers take hostages on Cloud Nine and demand Sharon be turned over for execution or Lee Adama will be killed. Kara attempts a rescue that goes horribly wrong.


A pregnant stowaway on Galactica raises political issues regarding abortion and parental rights. Lee intervenes on Pegasus when Starbuck and Garner butt heads. Garner's ill-conceived rescue plan of two pilots leads Pegasus into a Cylon trap.


On Caprica, Caprica six and Sharon download and are hailed as heroes. Six is asked to encourage Sharon to abandon her human life. Six is haunted and guided by a vision of Baltar only she can see. Anders and his team plan a strike against the Cylons. Sharon gives birth to her daughter prematurely. Roslin plots Hera's future.


Starbuck gets the go ahead for a rescue mission back to Caprica that relies on assistance from Sharon who is still devastated from the loss of her baby. Roslin and Baltar prepare for presidential election debates. One of Starbuck's rescue raptors jumps to the wrong planet and discovers a habitable planet safe from cylon detection.


Cylon, Brother Cavil, delivers a message to the fleet that Caprica Six and Boomer have convinced them to abandon their plot to destroy humanity. Baltar uses the planet's discovery to swing the election in his favor, calling for the settling of the planet. Their plan for a new life is derailed by the arrival of the cylons.


Season 3

Four months after the Cylons arrive, Adama is determined to rescue the rest of the fleet. Tyrol, and Anders lead a resistance movement. Ellen Tigh sacrifices her body for her husband's release. Kara is held captive by Leoben.


Duck's suicide bombing leads to the mass arrest of suspected insurgents. Baltar is forced to sign the death warrant for insurgents including Roslin, Zarek, and Cally. Leoben introduces Kara to a little girl he claims is her daughter. On Galactica, Sharon is sworn in as a colonial officer and sent to meet with the resistance on New Caprica.


Tyrol discovers his wife is among the insurgents listed for death. Sharon Agathon meets with Anders to plan the evacuation. Number Three has dreams of Hera that lead her to oracle, Selloi. Three informs Sharon Agathon that her daughter is still alive.


Lee doubts the likelihood of success of his father's rescue plan and leads Pegasus to Galactica's rescue at a pivotal moment. Tigh confronts his wife about her betrayal. Kara and Sam are reunited and she rescues Kacey from Leoben.


The leaders of the insurgency form a tribunal to try, judge, and execute cylon collaborators. Zarek cedes the presidency to Roslin. Gaius' fate is determined by the Cylons.


Tigh and Starbuck cause division among those who survived the occupation and those who stayed on Galactica. Baltar must find a reason for the Cylons to keep him alive.


Baltar volunteers to investigate a Cylon vessel infected with a virus deadly to Cylons and wonders if he is a Cylon. Athena and Racetrack later discover the same vessel and bring the infected survivors back to Galactica where Lee realizes an opportunity to wipe out the Cylons once and for all. Helo questions the morality of their plan.


A long missing plot, Bulldog, returns from years of Cylon captivity and Adama is forced to reveal his part in his capture. Adama wonders if a past mission he led on the Valkyrie was the reason for the Cylon attack. Number Three undertakes an experiment to discover what lies between life and death.


Flashbacks reveal the source of Lee and Kara's estrangement. Adama reinstates an old tradition in order to relive tension. Kara challenges Lee in the ring and the outcome embarrasses Dualla.


The fleets food resources become contaminated leading to desperate fleetwide hunger. The only food source, algae, lies on a planet blocked by a vast radioactive nebula. It is up to the fleet's viper and raptor pilots to guide the civilian vessels through the nebula, risking deadly radiation exposure.
While retrieving algae for the fleet, Tyrol discovers the Temple of the Five that contains the eye of Jupiter which will lead the fleet to Earth. Galactica stands off against a Cylon base star. Starbuck is shot down and Lee orders Dualla to rescue her. Tyrol must find the eye before the Cylons arrive and they are forced to destroy the temple.


The Cylons hand over Baltar to Galactica. Sharon learns from Boomer that her daughter is alive on the Cylon basestar and is determined to find her. Three defies the other Cylons hoping to see the faces of the final five.


Baltar is interrogated about the Cylons. Lee and Kara must work out their relationship with each other and their respective spouses.


Helo becomes suspicious of a doctor whom the Sagittaron refugees claim is discriminating against them and may even be killing them.


Adama remembers his former wife on the anniversary of their wedding. Cally and Galen become trapped in an airlock after a seal blows and the room begins to depressurize with no way for them to escape. Roslin pursues a trial for Baltar.


Sections of Baltar's book, "My Triumphs, My Mistakes" spreads throughout the fleet stirring dissent among the working class. Tyrol investigates terrible conditions on the Tylium refining ship and realizes Baltar may have a point in regards to growing class divisions within the fleet. He organizes a strike after a young boy loses his arm in an accident.


Kara Thrace begins to experience vivid hallucinations of her past and The Eye of Jupiter. Lee and Commander Adama doubt her ability to continue flying when she pursues a phantom raider no one else sees.


Still grieving over Kara's death, Lee Adama is ordered to protect Baltar's lawyer, Romo Lampkin while his father is appointed as one of five judges in Baltar's trial. Anders injures himself grieving over his wife.


Baltar's trial begins with testimonies from Colonel Tigh and President Roslin. Lee resigns his post and his father accepts. Lee confronts Roslin about her use of Chamalla extract and she reveals her cancer has returned.


The judges determine Baltar's fate. Roslin experiences dreams and hallucinations of the Opera House on Kobol that link her to Six and Sharon Agathon and her daughter, Hera. Several members of Galactica hear mysterious music that lead them to believe they may be Cylons.


Season 4

A young Adama witnesses the severe injury of his lover, fellow pilot, Jaycie. On his first viper mission, he takes down a Cylon craft but also sees the Battlestar Columbia destroyed. He pursues a raider into the atmosphere of an icy planet and collides with the vessel and is forced to eject. He manages to take out a Centurion and crashes into a building. Inside he discovers evidence of a Cylon experiment on humans.
Officer Kendra Shaw unwittingly gives information to Admiral Helena Cain's lover, who turns out to be a Cylon. She later becomes a trusted officer of Cain's but not without accepting the weight of Cain's orders. Later, Shaw is appointed Lee Adama's XO, and joins an ill fated mission that leads her to a discovery about the Cylons.


Kara returns to the fleet claiming to have seen Earth. Roslin refuses to follow her direction. The four newly discovered Cylons, fear what they're capable of.


The Cylons realize that the final five cylons are in the colonial fleet. Cavil lobotomizes raider ships and the other Cylons want to stop him. Starbuck continues her pleas to change direction, insisting the fleet is going the wrong way.


Cavil cedes to the Sixes and Eights demands but holds a surprise up his sleeve. Lee discovers that Roslin still holds Baltar's trial against him. Starbuck continues her quest to find Earth on board Demetrius. Cally learns her husband's secret.


Baltar stirs religious debate in the fleet with his promotion of monotheism. Tigh tries to get answers from Caprica six. Tory suggests Galen turn off his grief. Galen lashes out in anger.


Leoben convinces Starbuck to seek out her destiny and her decisions lead to a mutiny on board the Demetrius. Baltar reaches out to Tyrol.


Starbuck visits the Cylon basestar and makes an alliance with the Cylons. Anders flirts with exploring his true nature. Roslin is led by an another cancer patient to realize there may be some value in Baltar's religious messages.


The cylon rebels join the fleet with a proposal that could bring mortality to the Cylons. Starbuck reveals the hybrid's prophecy to President Roslin. Baltar reveals Roslin's visions to the fleet. Athena fears she'll lose her daughter.


Lee and Romo Lampkin try to find a replacement for Roslin whom Adama will support. Adama is determined to find Roslin and the Basestar despite indications all on board are dead. Tigh's secret interrogations of Six is revealed.


The Hybrid continues the mission to find and destroy the hub. Helo is disappointed with the president's decisions about D'Anna. The president's visions guide her to rediscover love.


D'Anna holds negotiations with the humans but decides to follow through with the Cylons' original plan to hold their human guests hostage in order to force the four Cylons on Galactica to reveal themselves.
