Barry Shabaka Henley (b. September 15, 1954, New Orleans, Louisiana) is an American actor known for his guest roles on television drama series. Equally adept at comedic and dramatic roles, Henley made his debut in the comedic independent film Nincompoop. Though not well known in genre roles he has made a few genre appearances in Lord of Illusions, Fallen, with Denzel Washington, and the NBC series Heroes. Other notable roles include What's Love Got to Do with It with Angela Bassett, Devil in Blue Dress, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, with Bassett and Taye Diggs, Rush Hour, with Jackie Chan, Ali starring Will Smith, The Terminal with Tom Hanks, and Four Brothers with Mark Wahlberg.
In 2008, Henley will appear in the film, The Horsemen with Dennis Quaid and Ziyi Zhang.
