One hundred years after the events in "The Long Game," the Doctor and friends find themselves forced to take part in futuristic versions of popular game shows. The Doctor is on Big Brother, Rose is on The Weakest Link (which is now hosted by an "Anne Droid", a robot version of real life host Anne Robinson), and Captain Jack is on What Not to Wear (now also hosted by two robots).

However, things have changed a bit. Rather than an audition process, contestants are picked (supposedly at random). Also, losers don't get a year's supply of Turtle Wax...they are killed.
