Back to the Future Part II is the 1989 sequel to the hit film Back to the Future. Robert Zemeckis returned as director as did the film's screenwriter, Bob Gale. Also reprising their roles were Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson. The film was followed by the third and final film in the franchise, Back to the Future Part III.

Plot

Marty and Jennifer visit the year 2015 in Dr. Brown's time traveling DeLorean. Biff Tannen steals the machine and gives his younger self a book containing sports statistics for the next fifty years enabling him to gain vast wealth and power. Marty and Doc Brown must return to 1955, recover the book, and save the future.
