Babes in Toyland is a 1934 musical fantasy starring Laurel and Hardy. The two play Stannie Dum and Ollie Dee, employees of a toymaker who try to borrow money to help Mother Peep pay off the mortgage on the shoe so she can keep Little Bo Peep from being forced to marry the vile Barnaby. When their initial plot fails, they trick Barnaby into marrying Dum but in retaliation he sends his boogeymen to destroy Toyland.
