BBC America is a cable and satellite TV channel in the United States. It specializes in bringing current or semi-current shows from BBC and ITV in the UK to U.S. Audiences.

Sci fi programming of BBC America has included the first season of the new Doctor Who, Hex and the new production of Robin Hood.

The channel should not be confused with the BBC in the UK. It operates like a normal American cable channel, including editing series for commercial breaks and does not carry all the programs that BBC UK airs.
