Automan

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Automan was a short-lived superhero television series produced by Glen A. Larson. The series aired twelve episodes on ABC from 1983 to 1984 and was loosely based on the film Tron.

Automan was portrayed by Chuck Wagner, a hologram able to leave his computer world to fight crime in the real one. The program is the creation of computer programmer, Walter Nebicher (Desi Arnaz Jr.). Nebicher was able to merge with his creation and share his invulnerability and his consciousness. Aiding Automan in his fight against crime was his sidekick, Cursor, a glowing polyhedron able to draw any physical object required by Automan.
