Ashley Scott (July 13, 1977) is an American actress born in Metaire, Louisiana. She grew up in Charleston, South Carolina and pursued modeling as a child. As a teen, she modeled in the fashion capitals of New York, Paris, London and Miami. She later decided to pursue acting and began auditioning for roles. She landed her first television role in Criminal Mastermind and made her film debut in Artificial Intelligence: AI in 2001. Also in 2001, she began appearing on the James Cameron TV series, Dark Angel as Asha Barlow. She followed up with a starring role as Helena Kyle on the short-lived 2002 action series Birds of prey based on the comics of the same name.
When the series ended, she appeared in the films S.W.A.T. with Samuel L. Jackson, Walking Tall with The Rock , and the horror thriller Trespassing. In 2004, she guest starred on the series Lost as Judy and appeared with Paul Walker and Jessica Alba in Into the Blue.
In 2006, Scott appeared in the role of Emily Sullivan on the CBS post-apocalyptic drama Jericho. The series was canceled after one season but fan appeal brought the series back and Scott reprised the role in a second season only to have the series canceled once again. She followed up with the movie 12 Rounds.
