Arthur and the Minimoys (Arthur et les Minimoys) also known as Arthur and the Invisibles is a 2006 animated French film from writer and director Luc Besson. The film opened in France on November 29, 2006 and received wide release in U.S. theaters on January 12, 2007.

Plot

Freddie Highmore stars as Arthur, a ten-year-old boy who goes on a hunt for a fabled treasure, hoping to save his grandfather's home from demolition. He follows his grandfather's clues and unlocks a passageway to a fantastic world filled with strange people so small they are considered invisible. Once there, Arthur must take up arms to defend the world against invaders led by the evil wizard, Maltazard.
