- Description: Two million years in the future, humanity has developed godlike powers. People choose characters from fiction, and live their lives as those characters. The book often does not identify the character by name, and it has become something of a game for readers to try to figure out who the characters are. Some are obvious: the consulting detective is clearly Sherlock Holmes.
Flash Gordon (1980). A movie tie-in to the Sam Jones version.
Night of the Living Rerun (1998). A Buffy the Vampire Slayer novel.
