Apports are objects materialized by a medium, typically during a seance.

These objects are typically commonplace, such as flowers or household items. It may appear to be necessary for the object to have passed through solid objects to get to where it is. Sometimes, a living animal can be an apport.

Anyone familiar with stage magicians has seen an act simulating apports, such as making doves, scarves, balls, or flowers appear. During the Spiritualism era, investiagors tried to control for fraud.

Stanford University has had a large collection of apports.
