Antimatter

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Antimatter is a form of matter composed of antiparticles; such as antiprotons, antineutrons and positrons. Antiprotons have the same mass but an opposite charge. The positron is the counterpart of an electron. Positrons are annihilated when they collide with electrons and produce energy such as high energy photons (gamma rays).

One theoretical use of Antimatter is as a power source for an engine designed to traverse space as seen in Star Trek's warp drive.
