Angelo Rossitto (February 18, 1908 – September 21, 1991) Dwarf newspaper seller in Los Angeles who occasionally appeared in acting roles (often uncredited). He was discovered by John Barrymore and featured as a character in Nathanael West’s 1939 novel Day of the Locust. His career spanned an incredible six decades in films of wildly variable quality, from Seven Footprints to Satan (1929) to From a Whisper to a Scream (1987). He was partnered with Bela Lugosi in Spooks Run Wild (1941), The Corpse Vanishes (1942) and the color Scared to Death (1947).
