Andrew Stanton

Andrew Stanton (b. December 3, 1965, Rockport, Massachusetts) is an Academy Award-winning screenwriter, director, artist and producer. Stanton won an Oscar for the film Finding Nemo. He was also nominated alongside Bob Peterson and David Reynolds for the film's script. Stanton also won a BAFTA Children's award for Monsters, Inc.. He began his work in film animation in 1987 and has since worked on several popular animated films in various capacities including A Bug's Life, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, The Incredibles, Cars, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins and Wall-E. In 2009, Stanton is slated to direct John Carter of Mars based on the Edgar Rice Burroughs novel.
