Andrei and Sofie Ivanov are the parents of Susan Ivanova and Ganya Ivanov in the Babylon 5 TV series.

Sofie was a telepath forced by the Psi Corps to either take drugs to inhibit her telepathic abilities or join Psi Corps and lose her family. After choosing to take the inhibitors she eventually committed suicide rather than suffer the steady deterioration of her mind caused by the drugs.

Andrei, having lost his wife to Psi Corps and his son to the Earth-Minbari War was resistant to his daughter, Susan, joining the Earth Alliance military but she defied his wishes and enlisted anyway. The two never reconciled until Andrei was near death in the series' first season.
