The screenplay was provided by Tom Stern, Tim Burns and Anthony Waller. An American Werewolf in Paris was filmed in France and the Netherlands. The film premiered in the UK on October 31, 1997 and opened in US theaters on December 25.

Plot

Three American tourists on a thrill seeking European vacation, rescue a young woman who turns out to be a werewolf. They become drawn into an underground society where werewolves have begun using a drug enabling them to transform at any time.
