Allan Melvin (February 18, 1922 Kansas City, Missouri - January 17, 2008) was an American actor and voice artist.

He first came to fame for mainstream audiences as one of Sgt. Bilko's cronies. He continued as a popular character actor, often appearing in different episodes as different characters in classic TV series like The Andy Griffith Show, Perry Mason, and The Dick Van Dyke Show. Later television audiences recognize him as Alice's boyfriend Sam the Butcher on The Brady Bunch, and Barney Hefner on All in the Family and one of its spin-offs, Archie Bunker's Place.

In 1962, he began what would become a significant element of his career when he voiced Sgt. Snorkle in Beetle Bailey cartoons. He would originate the voice of Magilla Gorilla, and continue to do voice work throughout his life. Well-known characters include King Vultan of the Hawk-Men in The New Animated Adventures of Flash Gordon and the supervillain Electro on Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends.
