Aliens of London is an episode from the 2005 season of long-running program Doctor Who. It first aired in the UK on April 16, 2005.

Synopsis

Part 1 of 2. The Doctor and Rose return to present day London a little later than expected. Having been absent for months, Rose has been reported as a missing person. But before Rose can deal with the consequences to her life and her family, all of London plays witness to the crash of an alien spacecraft in the heart of London. But, there's something not quite right about the crash. What really caused it and why?

This episode includes the first appearance of Dr. Toshiko Sato (Naoko Mori), soon to be a central character on Doctor Who spinoff series Torchwood.

This episode also marks the first (brief) appearance of UNIT in the new series.
