Alien Apocalypse is a Sci Fi Channel original picture directed by Josh Becker and starring Sci Fi comedy veteran Bruce Campbell and Renée O'Connor.

Synopsis

Campbell and O'Connor play astronauts Dr. Ivan Hood and Kelly who return to Earth to find it overrun by aliens. Humanity has been reduced to a primitive state, enslaved by insectoid aliens. The few free humans have lost their spirit.

When Kelly is captured by aliens, Hood is determined to free her but can find no one brave enough to stand with him against the aliens and their deadly wooden weapons. In his determination to return Earth to some semblance of its former glory, he goes on an epic journey to find the president, winning friends over along the way with his miraculous and desperately needed chiropractic skills.

He's ultimately disappointed by what he finds on his quest but with his new friends behind him he manages to make a dent in the cowardice of his fellow humans and overthrow and alien camp and rescue Kelly. It is the beginning of his quest to win Earth back for humans.
