Alicia Witt

Alicia Roanne Witt (August 21, 1975 Worchester, Massachusetts - ) is an American actor born to Robert and Diane Witt. She received her high school diploma at 14 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting as a career. Witt is a classically trained pianist. Her skills were displayed in the romantic comedy Playing Mona Lisa which earned her a Best Actress award at the US Comedy Arts Festival

After making her debut in David Lynch's version of Dune (1984), she gained the public's attention portraying Cybil Shepherd's daughter, Zoey, on Cybil. Witt followed up her 1984 debut with a guest appearance on the series Twin Peaks. Other notable roles include Mr. Holland's Opus as Gertrude Lang, Gen13 as Caitlin Fairchild, Vanilla Sky as Libby, Two Weeks Notice as June Carver and an episode of The Twilight Zone, "The Executions of Grady Finch". In 2004, she appeared alongside Kristanna Loken in Ring of the Nibelungs". She also appeared in "The Upside of Anger" with Joan Allen, The Last Holiday with Queen Latifah, Nora Roberts' Blue Smoke and '88 Minutes with Al Pacino and Amy Brenneman.

Alicia currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Nathan Foulger, who she married in 2003.
