Ali Larter is an American actress and former model born Allison Elizabeth Larter on February 28, 1976 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She began modeling at 13 with Ford Modeling Agency, traveling the world before settling in Japan.

In 1995, at 18, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She took acting classes and won TV roles on Chicago Hope, Just Shoot Me, and Dawson's Creek. In 1999 she appeared in Varsity Blues with Dawson's Creek star, James Van Der Beek. In the same year she starred in House on Haunted Hill and Drive Me Crazy.

In 2000, she starred in the horror thriller Final Destination and 2001 she appeared in Legally Blonde with Reese Witherspoon. In 2003 she appeared in Final Destination 2.

In 2006, Larter became a member of the cast of the NBC series Heroes. She stars as Niki Sanders a mother of a young genius who discovers she has a violent alter ego. In 2007, she appeared in Resident Evil: Extinction, Homo Erectus and the Bollywood film, Marigold.
