Albert S. D'Agostino

Albert S. D’Agostino (December 27, 1892March 14, 1970) American art director at Universal during the 1930s, where he contributed to such films as The WereWolf of London (1935) and Dracula’s Daughter (1936). After moving to RKO Radio Pictures, he was responsible for redressing his sets from The Magnificent Ambersons (1942) for Val Lewton’s series of stylish shockers in the ’40s, including Cat People (1942), I Walked With a Zombie (1943), Curse of the Cat People (1944), and Isle of the Dead (1945). He remained at RKO, where he worked on everything from Zombies on Broadway (1945) to The Thing from Another World (1951).
